At the Dr F. De Wilde – Dr K. Vandekerckhove Ophthalmology Clinic, you are guaranteed to receive nothing but the most professional of eye care in a pleasant atmosphere and a unique setting. We look forward to welcoming you to our new premises, located at Kortrijksesteenweg 206 in Sint-Martens-Latem, which is not only readily accessible but also has its own private 20-space car park.
In our clinic, located on the ground floor, you will be looked after by a team of three secretaries, 2 ophthalmologists, an optometrist, an orthoptist and a medical photographer. Our surgery is open every day, though as we operate an appointment system, we ask you to contact us by phone or e-mail to make an appointment first. By using an electronic diary we can help you even faster and give you an appointment for your specific complaint.

Our ophthalmology clinic mainly specializes in eye surgery such as cataract operations, crystalline lens extraction, refractive surgery and oculoplastic surgery. We also specialize in age-related macular degeneration and offer treatments such as photodynamic therapy and intravitreal injections. We have our own theatre, equipped with a sterile air (laminar air flow) conditioning unit, so that every procedure can be performed under the safest of conditions.
You can call on us for every type of eye problem, whether you need your spectacle lenses adjusted or are suffering from retina problems.
